SPILL is a multi-media host, made by and for the hospitality industry.
What We Do
We collectively host Anthropological [podcast], curate and design our tri-annual print Guest Check, which is available for purchase digitally or print in-hand, along with hosting HUSLTES, our small-business database and traveling event series.
Who We Are
We act as facilitators and amplifiers for discussions and resources that benefit hospitality workers and the conversations that we oft don’t see take place on major platforms. We want to remain a safe and respectful space, and yet always open the opportunity for conversations to become uncomfortable and thought-provoking.

I am Thing 1 [founder and co-facilitator] of SPILL, and I am ridiculously excited for SPILL’s ever-evolving image and purpose. I am a Chicago-based bartender and beverage consultant, avid reality TV watcher, and excessive mint garnisher.
Kisira Hill
I am Thing 2 [co-facilitator and discussions] of SPILL. I am many things — an anthropologist with a background in evolutionary theory in the academic space, a graphic designer by trade, a hospitality industry person by hustle, and your local disjointed Chicago Gemini.

Guest Check is a seasonal print made available to our audience via our online store [digital and print versions now available for issue no. VI], as well as at our HUSTLES: Night Market events…coming to a city near you!
Where are Prints Sold?
Short answer, online! We sell prints, along with other artwork at our HUSTLES: Night Market event series.
We are currently working to get Guest Check sold in local Chicago bookstores and shops. Stay tuned for where you can pick Guest Check up in stores!
